Meet the Doctor

Dr. Derrick Hamilton is a full body chiropractic physician serving the East St. Louis, Cahokia and the Greater East Metro region. Originally from Little Rock, AR, he graduated from Hendrix College with an undergraduate degree in History before making his way to St. Louis, MO to attend the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic. Fascinated by Anatomy and Physiology, along with natural methods of health and wellness, becoming a chiropractor was the perfect fit for him. While at Logan University, Dr. Hamilton was an active member on the school’s student government and also worked in the anatomy lab, both of which helped him earn the honorable Student Doctor Service Award in recognition of his many contributions.

Dr. Hamilton was selected as a field service intern by a community doctor, where he treated many patients throughout St. Louis. Additionally, Dr. Hamilton also served as a chiropractic intern at a St. Louis area veteran’s hospital, treating our country’s wounded warriors. Here, Dr. Hamilton and his team worked to help veterans make the shift from using prescription medications to more holistic forms of treatment, such as chiropractic, physical rehabilitation, biofeedback therapy and acupuncture. After graduation, Dr. Hamilton earned his chiropractic licensure in the state of Illinois and launched Hamilton Holistic Healthcare Services in Peoria, Illinois which served also as a mobile on-demand practice. He is also currently working towards his Master’s degree in Sports Injury and Rehabilitation to further hone his skills in the physical medicine realm. Dr. Hamilton has made it his priority to help others attain their best quality of life possible, and is trained in a variety of adjustment techniques and offers his patients holistic wellness treatment services and plans to optimize their overall health.
